The Oak Cliff Spiral Diner closed on August 14, 2022. Keep its old Dallas recommendation separate from the continuing Fort Worth restaurant.
The Beckley Avenue diner has closed
The former restaurant was at 1101 North Beckley Avenue. Its Dallas profile keeps the closed status and original address together.
Why the Dallas restaurant closed
An August 10, 2022 Dallas Observer report named the aging building and maintenance costs behind the decision not to continue there. August 14 was the announced last day.
A current Dallas plant-based meal
Vegan Food House serves plant-based comfort food in Oak Cliff. Kalachandji’s offers a vegetarian buffet with marked dairy dishes. Neither is a replacement business in the former Spiral Diner building.
